South Florida Brunch

South Florida brunch restaurants are in abundance. However, I’d like to share two of our favorite Summer spots for brunch – one in Palm Beach County and another in Broward County. I’ll share a separate post on a few other events and dinner spots.

We have a one year old and sometimes we take her along for early afternoon or morning events or meals. We try to keep a consistent date night, with a sitter at home every Saturday night. Brunch is definitely easier to take a little one along.

South Florida Brunch for Foodies

The Butcher Shop West Palm Beach

The Butcher Shop in West Palm Beach is the second of its kind, originating from the Miami-based location. Overall, the restaurant carries a strong, comfortable South Florida vibe. They have three separate event spaces, and we enjoyed my favorite of the three, which is the Backyard Beer Garden.

They hosted a brunch for bloggers. It was fun to taste their brunch menu, enjoy a mimosa and meet fellow bloggers who I’ve followed on social media for a while, but never met in person.

The Backyard Beer Garden has a very family-friendly backyard vibe with a couple kid-sized picnic tables. At least half of the blogger brought their kiddos. As a mommy, it was nice to attend a family-friendly event. Even Autumn Rose got a name tag that said, “@babybutcher” – so cute.

Steak 954 at the W Fort Lauderdale

We went to Steak 954, which is inside the W Fort Lauderdale Hotel for a dear friend’s birthday bash. We started by eating brunch next to a huge Jelly Fish aquarium, which was beautiful!

Then hit the roof top patio and pool, overlooking the ocean. It was beautiful. I didn’t get a ton of pictures but its definitely worth a mention.

As always, definitely let me know what you’re looking for in Florida and if you have any other suggestions to add to my future visits.
