Worth Avenue Night Out

Whether it’s a girls night out, first date, anniversary dinner or a vacation to Palm Beach Island in South Florida, the following itinerary is perfect for you to take a stroll down Worth Avenue. Mix and match, as you please. This itinerary is all walk-able (in 3 inch heels to boot).

Hotel on Worth Avenue

This perfect evening itinerary kicked off at The Colony Hotel. Here’s a little snippet of our introduction to the hotel and a little history, as well as the beautiful patio with pool area and bar. She mentions all the kid-friendly activities (I can’t wait to bring Autumn!)

Get Ready on Worth Avenue

Red Strapless Jumpsuit

For this particular evening, I started at Nordstrom. Since the Gardens Mall is about 25 minutes from Palm Beach, there are some other suggestions in the next section for shopping on Worth Avenue. While at Nordstrom, I found an adorable strapless jumpsuit by Socialite and Sam Edelman leather, nude pumps. Since the jumpsuit runs a little big, I would go down one size. Make sure to wear “invisible” underwear (aka a thong). Also, got this strapless bra, which is great value ($38!). Make sure you sister-size DOWN on that bra.

Woody Michleb Beauty Salon on Palm Beach

Then, head over to the island a little early to get a manicure, pedicure and hair style. We visited Woody Michleb Beauty Salon, which is a very reasonably priced salon. Surprisingly, the entire salon is an art gallery for Andy Warhol pieces. Beautiful architecture fills the salon! Tour the salon here: http://www.woodymichleb.com/tour-our-space/

Maybe you don’t want to leave the island before you start the night, there are so many adorable boutiques.

For starters, the legendary and beloved Palm Beach idol, Lilly Pulitzer. If you didn’t know, her operation started on “the Island” in 1959. She shook up the traditional resort-wear colors that used to red, white, and navy. Of course, I’m featured here wearing a traditional red, which she stood to broaden people’s fashion-sense. Sorry, Lilly! Bottom line, I love her. She’s a culture-changer and left a creative impact.

At the entrance, you’ll find a beautiful flowing pond.

The store is crazy beautiful – I strongly suggest a visit.

Don’t forget to stop in one of the beautiful alleys and take a friend-selfie!

Another option is the beautiful Island Company that has very comfortable, stylish resort wear. Don’t forget to pick up some of their branded rum! They have a bar in the store – a perfect way to get the night started, if you ask me.

Eat on Worth Avenue

Worth Avenue Pizza Al Fresco Palm Beach

Where do I even start with the Palm Beach food scene? It’s growing so fast and we have many date nights on the Island. I’ll just share a few suggestions from this particular girls night. Feel free to ask any questions or share your suggestions in the comments below.

Perfect way to solidify your evening is some live jazz music in the Colony Hotel lounge before heading to your beautiful hotel room.
